Schwarz Rot Blut
Urban Bike is a company that produces bikes and wants to establish an online presence.
Objective
I had the opportunity to direct the art for an upcoming podcast titled "Schwarz Rot Blut," which investigates crimes in Germany where the victims were immigrants. The podcast delves into the often-overlooked racial motives behind these crimes, exploring the gap between the legal process and the reality experienced by victims and experts.
The aim was to design a compelling podcast cover and create promotional material that would resonate with the podcast’s serious and investigative tone. This included designing social media posts, internet banners, and a press pack to effectively promote the podcast and its important message.
Solution
To bring this project to life, I developed a visual narrative inspired by the look of a detective's clue board, utilizing a paper collage aesthetic.
This approach aimed to evoke the meticulous process of investigation and the piecing together of critical information.
The podcast cover featured layered paper textures and hand-drawn elements, creating a sense of depth and intrigue. Promotional materials, including social media posts and internet banners, followed this cohesive design language to maintain a strong brand identity across all platforms. The press pack was meticulously crafted to provide clear, engaging information while adhering to the podcast's visual theme, ensuring that all promotional efforts were aligned and impactful.
